Subject: The Church At Philadelphia

Revelation 3:7-13 (NKJV)
7 "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write, 'These things says He who is holy, He who is true,
"He who has the key of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens":
8 I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
9 Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews and are not, but lie--
indeed I will make them come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
11 Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
12 He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. And I will write on him the name of My God
and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.
13 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." '

1. To the pastor and the church at Philadelphia Jesus says no one can shut a door that God opens!
Isaiah 22:22 (NKJV)
22 The key of the house of David I will lay on his shoulder; So he shall open, and no one shall shut; And he shall shut, and no one shall open.
Revelation 4:1 (NKJV)
1 After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying,
"Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this."
Romans 8:31 (NKJV)
31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Dr. Glen Cole - No number of humans or demons can close a door that God wants to open. Believers should not worry about doors that humans close.
We should focus on the doors that God opens.
2. To the pastor and the church at Philadelphia Jesus says I will keep you from the hour of trial...the Tribulation.
Revelation 3:10 (NKJV)
10 Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
Matthew 24:21 (NKJV)
21 For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Daniel 12:1 (NKJV)
1 ....And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time.
And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book.
Jeremiah 30:7 (NIV)

Dr. Glen Cole - Delay is the shovel that digs opportunity’s grave. It is always better to be saved today than to wait until tomorrow.
* A pale horse will go forth with power named death...a fourth of the earth will die.
* Waters will be made bitter and people will die from drinking it.
* Four angels will be released to kill a third of the earth’s population.
* Even after plagues are poured out on people everywhere they refuse to repent.
* People will send gifts to each other when the prophets are killed...bitterness!
* The inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast whose names are not in the book.
* They curse God because of all the tribulation and they refuse to repent.
Revelation 16:10-11 & 21(NLT)
10 Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness. His subjects ground their teeth in anguish,
11 and they cursed the God of heaven for their pains and sores. But they did not repent of their evil deeds and turn to God.
21 There was a terrible hailstorm, and hailstones weighing seventy-five pounds fell from the sky onto the people below.
They cursed God because of the terrible plague of the hailstorm.
3. To the pastor and the church at Philadelphia Jesus says there is coming an open door for you and it is the rapture of the church!
